Welcome to SNEACRS...

The Navy Modeling and Simulation Office (NMSO) Standards Nomination, Evaluation, Advocacy and Central Repository System (SNEACRS) is a web-based tool used to track, discuss, and vote on Navy standards nominations. Any individual may nominate a new M&S standard requirement by submitting a Standards Needs Document (SND). The term "Standard" is applied in the broadest context to include procedures, practices, processes, techniques, data, and algorithms. A potential Navy Standard may, but not necessarily, be already recognized by a standards organization such as ISO, IEC, ANSI, IEEE, EIA, OMG, SAE, USPRO, etc. If a specific standard accepted by the Navy M&S community is later approved as a government or DoD standard, it will be identified as being approved by a higher authority.

The Navy M&S Standards Process considers technical M&S algorithms, heuristics, procedures, and other appropriate M&S standard methods, to support commonality, reuse, sharing, and interoperability.
